First time in Nepal, Can Federation announced that an exhibition program is going to be conducted as CAN CommTech 2016 (Information, Communication and Technology) exhibition program in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, Nepal from 8th September to 11th September 2016 in a press meeting at Radisson Hotel.

During this program, Bishwo Ram Balami, General Secretary of CAN Federation told that this program is targeting to promote and uplift the Information, Communication and Technology field in Nepal. Not only this, he told that many national and international companies will also be actively participated so that General people would take advantage of both of them. Furthermore, Telecommunication, Internet Service Suppliers, Electronic Security or Safety and Solution, Hardware Sales and Maintenance, Power Solution, Mobile Assoc series, Dealer and Distributor, ICT College and Training Institute, Payment Solution and install would be the main attraction of this program.

During this program, Subisu and Samsung would be the Title Sponsor and Associate Sponsor respectively so that can CommTech official name has become “Subisu Can CommTech 2016 In Association with Samsung”. Furthermore, there are also many sponsors like Platinum Sponsor (web surfer), Silver Sponsor (Su-Kam and nets) and Print Sponsor (Sparrow). Not only this, Sunrise Bank Limited would be the official bank for this program. It is also decided that Subisu, Samsung and Sunrise Bank Limited would be the Title Sponsor, Associate Sponsor, and Official Bank for the Can CommTech 2016, Can InfoTech 2017, and Can ICT Conference 2017.

Furthermore, there would be altogether 81 installs including small and big. Within this, the special pavilion would be allocated for Security Solution Companies called Electronic Security, and Safety and Solution. On that Pavilion, the exhibitor could see Electronic Security or Safety and Solution instruments like CCTV, Access Control System, Sensor, and Alarm, Staff Attendance, Fire and Smoke Detector, Fire Fighter etc. And this Pavilion would be fully managed by APSA (Asian Professional Security Association) Nepal Company so that exhibitor and participated security related companies would feel comfortable.

Besides this, the exhibition would be entirely focused on Broadband Internet and Communication Technology to launch high-speed internet facilities at a reasonable price. Along with, Nepal Government has planned to mobilize the concept of Digital TV Transmission and Smart City in main Cities which would also be exhibited and discussed. Not only this, but you can also see the latest model application of Android Mobile (SmartPhone).

In summary, this program is primarily targeted to all age groups, people and students. So there would be a nominal entrance fee for the exhibition like General People cost Rs 50 and Students cost Rs 25. And this amount would be further reduced for students if they come with school/college dress and school/college ID.
