Google has always named their Android versions on the names of sweets and this time also it has given the name ‘Marshmallow.’ This new version is called “Android Marshmallow 6.0”, which is the 6th addition to Google’s dessert menu.

This new version of Android is planned to be unveiled on 29th of September 2015 at Google’s press event in San Francisco, California.

There is kept many significant changes in this new version of Android. It has also got many amazing new features. It is far better than any other Android versions that came till now. The significant changes that are included in this new Android version are improved fingerprint sensor support, better App Permissions Interface, improved sleep time by a new feature called Doze, and many more left to be mentioned. This is probably the third and final update to the Android M Developer.

However, Android Marshmallow themes are not available till now for any of the devices yet; it is probably because it pretty much looks like Lollipop Android Version. But you can get the latest Marshmallow wallpapers for your phone right now, and you can have a look and feel like you are using this new Android version.

Master Chef Google is also preparing for the launching of updated crockery to taste this new marshmallow dessert.

This third and final update to the Android M Developer Preview is now made available for selected Nexus devices namely Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player. It will be manufactured by LG Company and is believed to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 5.2inch 1080p display, 12.3MP rear camera, and a fingerprint sensor. An upgraded 2015 version of Nexus 6, named as Nexus 6P is about to be manufactured by Huawei and is believed to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 5.7-inch QHD display.

About its release date, Android Developer Advocate Wojtek Kaliciński has said, “We want this to be a near-final release to test your apps on, but we need a little more time to get it out to you.” He has also said, “Be patient and refrain from posting speculations about the release date in the community.”

Along with this new good news of delight dessert, Chrome will also be receiving its 2.0 upgrade with more improved features like multi-room support, faster Wi-Fi connectivity, and enhanced audio feedback and so on.
