The only cloud-oriented school management software called E-School is being operated in Surkhet. The government officials under education ministry implemented this software in a school called ‘Amar Jyoti Higher Secondary School,’ around Jestha 5.

E-school is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software that integrates Student Information System (SIS), Billing, Examination, Attendance, Learning Management System, Accounting, Payroll, Inventory, Library and SMS module in a single cloud-oriented software. It is currently being used in schools and colleges all over Nepal.

Internet must be connected in a specific device (Laptop, mobile, tablet etc.) for the person to login according to their role. The software only allows the people to access the data that are available to their role for security. This gives the principle of the school full access to the exams, attendances, salary structure and other day to day activities at any given time without any difficulties. Therefore, yearly reports are now just a click away.

Service provider e-Zone International Pvt. Ltd. and service receiver Amar Jyoti Higher Secondary School had a mutual understanding towards the software when engineers Govinda Pandey and Keshab Gautam successfully implemented online school management software. The teachers and parents also are in full support of this project and Amar Jyoti Higher Secondary School is the first school in Surkhet to implement the software.

Furthermore, software developers provide training to students, teachers and parents and teaching them how the process of learning is very efficientwith this cloud-oriented software and could be a revolutionary thing in the days to come.
