HTC announced and released HTC Desire 825 smartphone on February 2016 that comes up with an Android OS v6.0 Marshmallow. This phone has a dimension of 1156.9 x 76.9 x 7.4 mm (6.18 x 3.03 x 0.29 in) with 7.4mm thickness and weighs about 155 grams. This phone supports GSM/ HSPA/ LTE network configurations. It uses Single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
The display is of 16M colors and has Super LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen size is 5.5 inches, and the screen-to-body ratio is 69.1%. The screen resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels which are precisely 267 PPI pixel density. It supports multitouch and comes up with Corning Gorilla Glass protection with HTC Sense UI 6.0. It has got Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, and CPU comprises of Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A7 processors. The GPU used is Adreno 305. The internal memory available is 16GB, and it contains 2GB RAM. It also supports micro SD slot that could be upgraded up to 200 GB (dedicated slot).
The primary camera comprises of a 13 MP, f/2.2, 28 mm, autofocus, LED flash while secondary comprises of 5 MP, f/2.8, 1080p@30fps, HDR camera. The video feature is 1080p@60fps, 1080p@30fps, 720p @120fps, HDR and stereo sound recording. The microphone jack is 3.55mm with Hi-Res Audio/ Dolby Audio and has got stereo loudspeakers. The WLAN supported are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and hotspot. The Bluetooth version is 4.1, A2DP.
It also has Stereo FM radio. The USB available is v2.0 micro USB (MHL 3.0 TV-out), USB Host. It also comes with compass, accelerometer, gyro and proximity sensors. The messaging can be performed via MMS, SMS threaded view, Email and Push mail. The GPS technology is A-GPS, GLONASS. The browser is HTML5. The battery used is a Non-removable Li-Po 2700 mAH battery. The colors available are Gunmetal grey, Amber Gold and Glacial silver.
