Karnali Region Gets Fast Internet Service

Worldlink Communication Pvt. Ltd. has started laying out the optical fiber internet wires from Tripureshowr to Pani pokhari in a managed manner. In a recent press release, Worldlink informed that the primary stages of the project have been completed.

Worldlink mentioned the next stage of the project would be to manage the wires between Maitighar to Baluwatar.

Similarly, under the Public Wi-Fi project, Worldlink is providing free internet services at Pashupatinath area, Bouddha, Sankha park, Balaju water park, Swyambhu, Basantapur, TIA airport, Pokhara and Birgunj municipalities. They plan to extend the service to more areas and are working on improving the effectiveness of the current facility as well.

Under the Karnali Project including two packages ‘A’ and ‘B,’ Worldlink is providing free internet services to the general public of Karnali region. Worldlink informed that package ‘A’ that provides internet at places like Humla, Jumla, and Mugu is 52 % complete and package ‘B,’ providing services at Rolpa, Rukum, Jajarkot, and Kalikot is fully completed.

Likewise, Worldlink provides new standard internet products like Go app, Safe net app, Managed Wi-Fi and time back services for just Rs. 1250. The company has also offered internet usage information to 2038 students at 31 different schools.

Worldlink plans to provide internet services at ten different rural areas within four months and make free Wi-Fi hotspots available at 10 thousand public areas.
