Google announced its first ever tablet, the new Google Pixel C on October 2015 and released it on December 2015. This tablet comes up with an Android OS v6.0 Marshmallow. This tablet doesn’t supports any cellular network configurations since there is no any sim card slot.
This tablet has a dimension of 242 x 179 x 7 mm (9.53 x 7.05 x 0.28 in) and weighs about 517 g. The display is of 16M colors and has LTPS IPS LCD capacities touchscreen. The screen size is 10.2 inches, and the screen-to-body ratio is 72.4%. The screen resolution is 2560 x 1800 pixels which are exactly 308 PPI pixel density. The keyboard can be disconnected when not in use, and it can be used as a tablet and laptop as according to the mood.
The keyboard charges itself wireless when the tablet is shut via connection through the magnet. It supports multi touch and has got Nvidia Tegra X1 chip-set while the CPU comprises of Quad-core 1.9 GHz processor. The GPU used is Nvidia Maxwell. The internal memory available is 32 and 64 GB, and it contains 3 GB RAM. It does not include any external SD slot.
The material used is Anodized Aluminium. The keyboard is 1.4mm thick, and the screen angle can be adjusted from 100 to 135 degrees. The pitch is 18.85 mm. The keyboard can be charged inductively from the tablet, and no cable or charger is required. The primary camera comprises of an 8 MP, f/2.4 while the secondary camera is 2 MP camera. The microphone jack is 3.55mm and has got stereo speakers.
The WLAN supported are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, and hotpots. The Bluetooth version is 4.1, A2DP. GPS technology is not present. The USB available is v3.0 Type-C reversible connector.
It also comes with Ambient Light, Gyroscope, Accelerator, Compass, Hall and Proximity sensors. The messaging can be performed via Email, Push Email and IM. The battery used in the tablet is Non-removable Li-ion 34.2 Whirl battery while that used in keyboard is 0.5 Whirl battery. The colors available are Silver and Aluminium. The browser is HTML5. This tablet costs £399.
