Applications open for Second Batch of TECH RISE: Coding Bootcamp in Nepal. TECH RISE  has announced the opening of applications for its second intake of students.  They will be offering a scholarship for the first five students who complete the pre-work assigned an interview. TECH RISE is an intensive two months coding boot camp that provides a new learning experience to the students.

Students can work online from home but will have all the support they need with one on one mentor sessions and an online community that will answer their questions anytime. TECH RISE aspires to create star coders that can immediately apply their practicals skills upon graduation. The program only accepts students who are highly motivated and passionate. Although the pre-work can be finished by those even with no coding experience, there are few who have the drive to complete the initial test.

During the boot camp, students will learn HTML/CSS, Ruby on Rails, Javascript/Jquery, Git/Github and team communication and enhance their knowledge by learning by building, learning with peers and learning with mentors.

In two month program the students will:

Develop fully featured web applications

  • Learn and apply Object-Oriented Programming, MVC, and test-driven development
  • Meet like-minded personals who are passionate about coding

TECH RISE aims to empower Nepali youths by teaching them how to code – expanding their financial capability and damaging them to build innovative solutions to local issues. The social enterprise TECH RISE aims not only to potentially change the lives of the individuals but also make a substantial social and economic impact in Nepal.

Targeting the Nepali youth who have limited or no prior experience in coding, the company has already started its services and plans on expanding their reach to many more who wish to learn how to code.
