Marking the celebrations of the Nepalese festive seasons, Nepal Investment Bank Limited & its Associate Visa Member Banks has announced a 10% Cash Back Offer supported by Visa Worldwide to Visa Domestic Cardholders in Nepal. This offer was made to encourage the purchase habit of cardholders through the point of sales.
As per the media release, under this cashback scheme, Visa domestic cardholders will redeem flat 10% but not exceeding NPR. 1,000/- cashback per day on the total purchases. This cashback will be credited into the cardholder’s account for the transactions made through their Visa Cards at point of sales.
To be eligible for this 10% cashback offer, cardholders must purchase the minimum of NPR. 500/- per transaction at retail outlets and restaurants through their VISA Card issued by any one of the following banks: Century Bank Ltd., Global IME Bank Ltd., Kumari Bank Ltd., Mahalaxmi Development Bank Ltd., Mega Bank Nepal Ltd. NCC Bank Ltd., Nepal Investment Bank Ltd., Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd., Sanima Bank Ltd., and Tourism Development Bank Ltd.
The bank hopes to promote and boost the usage of the credit/debit cards for payments of goods and services in Nepal. This cashback offer was designed in a way to create a less-cash using society and encouraging customers to use their cards to redeem the cashback straightforwardly and effectively.
The banks, by following some related terms and conditions, will provide the cashback in the cardholder’s account the following day of the purchase.
