On 1st Ashar 2082 (15 June 2025), a delegation led by NADA President Mr. Karan Chaudhary met with Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mr. Bishnu Prasad Paudel and formally requested him to inaugurate the 17th edition of the NADA Auto Show 2025, scheduled to be held at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu from Bhadra 3 to Bhadra 8 (August 19–24, 2025), as the Chief Guest.

During the meeting, President Chaudhary stated that, after a long interval, a budget that is friendly to the automobile sector and the overall private sector has finally been introduced. In the same discussion, NADA Vice President Mr. Rajan Babu Shrestha emphasized the need for policies that support the upcoming establishment of a vehicle manufacturing industry in Simara, which would be the first of its kind in Nepal. He also urged the government to provide additional incentives to such industries and ensure policy stability.
Concluding the meeting, Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mr. Paudel graciously accepted NADA’s invitation and remarked that automobile entrepreneurs in Nepal must contribute more revenue to support the government.
The meeting was also attended by NADA General Secretary Mr. Surendra Kumar Upreti, Secretary Mr. Bikram Singhania, Treasurer Mr. Milan Babu Mall, Co-Treasurer Mr. Pankaj Agrawal, and Association Secretary Mr. Surendra Pradhan.

The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, established in 1975, represents Nepal’s automobile importers, distributors, and manufacturers. It has over 3,200 members supporting more than 1 million jobs and generating over NPR 90 billion annually. NADA actively works to promote industry growth and policy reform.
The association is now preparing for the 17th NADA Auto Show 2025, scheduled for August 19–24 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Stall bookings will open from March 11–17, 2025, and stalls will be allocated through a lottery due to high demand.
The show will feature vehicles, components, garage tools, and financial services. This major event brings together local and international brands. It also showcases new trends, including electric vehicles.
NADA President Karan Kumar Chaudhary stated the association is committed to supporting policy stability and industry development. NADA continues to lead Nepal’s automobile industry towards innovation, investment, and sustainable mobility.
