Youth IGF Nepal is thrilled to announce the upcoming 3rd edition of the Youth Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Nepal! As Youth IGF Nepal prepares for this significant event, they invite enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their Organizing Committee.
About Youth IGF Nepal
Youth Internet Governance Forums (yIGFs) are youth initiatives inspired by the principles of the global Internet Governance Forum (IGF) and are officially recognized by the UN IGF Secretariat. Youth IGF Nepal was established to encourage and involve young people from the Nepalese community in emerging internet governance issues.
Youth IGFs are established at both national and regional levels, adhering to the same principles as the UN IGF: open, inclusive, non-commercial, and multi-stakeholder. We also support capacity building for youth from different stakeholder groups on emerging issues such as the digital divide, universal access, AI governance, and freedom of expression online. Like the UN IGF, Youth IGF Nepal follows the fundamental principles of being multi-stakeholder, open, inclusive, bottom-up, and non-commercial.
