Shangri-la Development Bank to Host 3rd Shangri-la Cycle Rally on World Environment Day
In celebration of World Environment Day, Shangri-la Development Bank is set to organize the 3rd Shangri-la Cycle Rally with the theme “Save Fuel, Save Environment” on Jestha 19, 2081 (June 1, 2024).
This event aims to promote environmental awareness and the benefits of cycling as a sustainable mode of transport.
3rd Shangri-la Cycle Rally
The rally will commence from Sano Gaucharan and follow a scenic route through key city landmarks including Durbarmarg, Sahidgate, Tripureshwor, Thapathali, Maitighar, New Baneshwor, Mid Baneshwor, Gaushala, Ratopool, before returning to Sano Gaucharan. Participants are requested to report at 7:00 AM to ensure timely commencement.
Key Event Highlights:
Free T-shirt Distribution: The first 1,000 registered participants will receive complimentary event t-shirts.
Welcoming Remarks and Introduction: The event will kick off with opening speeches and an introduction to the rally’s objectives.
Post-Rally Celebration: Following the rally, there will be speeches, recognition of participants and partners, and a celebration event.
Lucky Draw Prizes: Participants will have a chance to win a brand-new cycle and other gift hampers.
Appetizer/Snack Box: Refreshments will be provided to all participants.
Insurance Coverage: Each participant will receive insurance coverage worth Rs. 1 Lakh. Participants are encouraged to register by filling out the registration form available at Shangri-la Development Bank branches.
It is important to note that participants must manage their cycles, cycle accessories, and safety kits for the rally.
