86th Cyber Security Program at Sharada Higher Secondary School, Phalate VDC, Kavre Nepal sponsored by Mr. Binod Upreti from Baltimore MD.
Washington DC, November 11, 2017 – The 86thCyber security and awareness program sponsored by Mr. Binod Upreti from Baltimore MD was conducted at Sharada Higher Secondary School, Phalate VDC, Kavre Nepal. The program was organized by Ms. Manisha Ranabhat, Coordinator of Cyber Security International.
Over 120 participants that included the students and teachers from the school, took part in the program. Cyber Security Trainer of Cyber Security International Ms. Pooja Gurung conducted the program. The awareness program focused on a variety of topics that included: how to be safe online, mobile phone security, phishing sites, Facebook, Gmail hacking, fake email, Wi-Fi security, computer security, IP address tracking, dangerous websites and so on.
In the awareness generating program, the participants have been given a clear idea about the increasing threats in cyberspace with several examples of spam, phishing and fraud social media activities and so on. At the end of the program, the students and teachers provided feedbacks which were collected by Ms. Manisha Ranabhat. The collected feedback will help the organizers to improve the program in the future and make it more interesting for students.
The ‘Cyber Security Awareness Program’ conducted by Cyber Security International is a nationwide awareness campaign, where various experts and trainers from the IT field conduct pieces of training and discussions on cybersecurity issues, types of cyberattacks and how to protect your data from any possible cyberattacks.
