The Nepali two-wheeler market welcomes a new addition as the sales of the latest variant of the Hero Xtreme 125R motorcycle begin.

CG Motors, the official distributor for Hero in Nepal, has commenced the retail of the Xtreme 125R BS6 OBD-2 single-seat variant. This introduction marks a significant step for Hero in the competitive 125cc segment.
The new Hero Xtreme 125R Nepal model arrives with a slight price adjustment. The company set the price of the new variant NPR 4,000 higher than the old version.
The revised price for the new Xtreme 125R is NPR 3,22,900. Previously, the Xtreme 125R sold for NPR 3,18,900. This price hike reflects the updates and compliance with the new emission standards.
Engine and Performance Specifications
The new Xtreme 125R features a robust and efficient engine package designed for both daily commuting and spirited rides. It is equipped with a 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke, fuel-injected (FI) engine.
This engine generates a maximum power of 10.5 PS and a peak torque of 11.55 Nm. A smooth 5-speed gearbox manages the transmission duties.
Speed, Fuel Efficiency, and Range
Hero focuses on delivering a balance of performance and excellent mileage with the Xtreme 125R. The motorcycle achieves a top speed of 95 km/h. It carries a 10-liter fuel tank.
The bike promises an impressive fuel efficiency of up to 66 km/l on one liter of petrol. This excellent mileage positions it strongly against other commuter bikes.
Design and Chassis Build
The Xtreme 125R blends the aesthetics of a naked sport bike with the practicality of a commuter. The motorcycle is built upon a strong diamond frame structure, enhancing stability and handling. It features a chain drive system. The braking setup includes a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. Single channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) comes standard, significantly improving rider safety. The bike comes fitted with tubeless tires and stylish alloy wheels.
