Grande International Hospital (GIH) achieved a major milestone in medical education by successfully conducting the Bristol Basic Urodynamics Course.
Grande International Bristol Basic Urodynamics
This high-level training program was held in collaboration with the renowned Bristol Urological Institute (UK) and the IRC–RCOG Nepal, bringing specialized urological knowledge and skills to local practitioners.
Enhancing Urodynamics Training in Nepal
The course focused on urodynamics, a diagnostic specialty essential for evaluating the function of the lower urinary tract (bladder and urethra).
The successful execution of the course highlights GIH’s commitment to advancing specialized medical training and fostering international collaboration in Nepal’s healthcare sector.
Key Leadership
The initiative was spearheaded by Dr. Maryada Malla, who served as the Course Coordinator. Her leadership was crucial in bridging the expertise of international institutions with the needs of the Nepali medical community.
International Faculty
The training was delivered by distinguished international faculty members: Mr. Andrew Gammie and Prof. Hashim Hashim. Their expert guidance provided participants with current global practices and practical techniques in urodynamics.
Collaborative Effort
The joint effort between Grande International Hospital, the Bristol Urological Institute (a global leader in the field), and the IRC–RCOG Nepal (a regional leader in obstetrics and gynaecology training) underscores the value of partnership in raising healthcare standards.
The successful completion of the Bristol Basic Urodynamics Course will directly contribute to improving diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes for patients suffering from complex urinary conditions in Nepal.
