Bookings for the Mahindra XEV9s Electric SUV will commence on January 14, 2026, with deliveries slated to begin on January 23, 2026. Design and Exterior: A Modern EV Aesthetic
The XEV9s is designed with a strong connection to Mahindra’s existing XEV9e design theme but incorporates elements that give it a unique road presence. The side profile draws inspiration from the popular XUV700, blending rugged SUV stance with modern EV aerodynamics.
The front fascia is particularly striking. It features a blanked-off grille, which is characteristic of electric vehicles, flanked by vertically stacked LED headlamps.
These are integrated with T-shaped LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) connected by a horizontal LED light bar, creating an aggressive and futuristic look. For enhanced efficiency and aesthetics, the vehicle includes flush-fitting door handles and aerodynamically optimized wheelers. The rear is completed with distinctive L-shaped LED taillights.

The electric powertrain supports up to a 175 kW fast charger, allowing for rapid replenishment of the battery. The XEV9s demonstrates impressive acceleration, capable of achieving 0 to 100 km/h in just seven seconds. Its top speed is rated at 202 km/h.
Crucially, Mahindra claims that the XEV9s delivers a maximum range of 520 km on a single charge (under test conditions), making it highly competitive in the long-range EV segment.
