A 13-day long adventurous road trip: Kathmandu-Kanyakumari trip in the Hyundai Tucson

The expedition team comprises of auto enthusiast Awashis Ojha, banker Bijay Kasaju, and Nepal-born U.S. resident Niraj Pokharel.
Kathmandu Kanyakumari Road Trip
The 13-day trip, running from December 3rd to December 15th, covers a distance of nearly 8,000 kilometers, with long daily drives ranging from 8 to 19 hours. The travelers will be using Mr. Bijay Kasaju’s Hyundai Tucson, a premium SUV recognized for its long-distance capability and comfort.

The Hyundai Tucson is well-suited for long overland journeys across mixed road conditions with its all-wheel drive capability, high ground clearance, and solid build. Inside, the Tucson offers a spacious cabin and ventilated seats to keep passengers comfortable during long hours on the road. Additionally, the travelers have set up a caravan-style resting arrangement in the back seat for moments when rest may be required.
