Yamaha’s participation went beyond just displaying motorcycles; the brand brought its MT-15 series to Otaku Jatra to bridge the gap between street-culture motorcycling and the emerging pop-culture community, highlighting the synergy between creativity, self-expression, and riding lifestyle.
By entering a pop-culture-driven event like Otaku Jatra, Yamaha reinforced its position as a brand that understands modern youth culture, individuality, and lifestyle.
The festival atmosphere, filled with cosplay, street art, gaming, and music, aligned perfectly with Yamaha’s identity as a youth- and street-culture-focused motorcycle brand.
Yamaha also recognized the winners from NRRC 2025, podium holder Dipesh Jaiswal, National Category winner Shree Hari Poudel, and Women’s Category winner Barsha Basnet, who were felicitated with Yamaha merchandise, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to motorsports excellence.
One of Yamaha’s key highlights was the showcase of customized MT-15 motorcycles, displayed alongside the personal stories and inspirations of their owners.
These bikes featured unique modifications, liveries, and accessories, celebrating individuality and creativity within the riding community. Yamaha Nepal’s CEO & Executive Director, Mr. Deepak Kumar Agrawal, personally handed out Yamaha merchandise to the featured riders.
The Yamaha stunt show emerged as one of the most crowd-pulling attractions of the festival. Professional riders delivered high-energy stunt performances that drew massive attention, reflecting Yamaha’s performance-driven DNA and strong motorsports heritage.
Yamaha also created interactive and experiential zones to engage the audience further. The gaming zone with a MotoGP racing setup attracted racing enthusiasts, while the graffiti art wall and helmet art zone encouraged attendees to express their creativity.
The MT-15 Experience Zone, including test rides, saw high engagement. A standout feature was the MT ride-outs, which included 35 riders with cosplay artists as pillion, creating a high-energy spectacle that hyped up the event even before attendees reached The Plaza.
Otaku Jatra was not just an event presence for Yamaha, but a statement of intent. By aligning with a festival that celebrates individuality, fandom, and bold expression, Yamaha reinforced its evolving identity as a brand that moves with culture, adapts with its audience, and continues to redefine how motorcycling connects with modern youth communities.
