Nabil Bank Global Money Week 2026: Empowering 11,000+ Students with Financial Literacy

Nepal’s leading commercial bank, Nabil Bank Limited, has successfully reached out to over 11,000 students across the country under the Global Money Week campaign.

The initiative aimed to enhance financial awareness among the youth and students, aligning with the bank’s commitment to financial inclusion.
Nationwide Impact: Reaching All Seven Provinces
The campaign, which ran from March 16 to 22, benefited a total of 11,087 students across all seven provinces of Nepal. The provincial breakdown of participants is as follows:
Bagmati Province: 2,608 students
Koshi Province: 2,064 students
Karnali Province: 1,504 students
Madhesh Province: 1,381 students
Lumbini Province: 1,338 students
Gandaki Province: 1,278 students
Sudurpashchim Province: 914 students
‘Protect Your Money, Secure Your Future’
Celebrating this year’s global theme, “Protect Your Money, Secure Your Future,” Nabil Bank conducted orientation sessions in various schools and colleges. These sessions were designed to provide practical knowledge on managing finances in the digital age.
The orientation programs focused on four key pillars:
The Importance of Saving and Investment: Encouraging a habit of saving from an early age.
Digital Banking Education: Navigating modern banking systems and mobile features safely.
Preventing Financial Fraud: Educating youth on how to identify and avoid digital scams and phishing.
Financial Management: Skills for effective budgeting and long-term financial planning.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development
Nabil Bank continues to prioritize financial literacy as a core part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). By producing and broadcasting educational materials, the bank aims to create a financially conscious society.
Through its Nabil SSE (School of Social Entrepreneurship), the bank is also dedicated to fostering social entrepreneurship, job creation, and sustainable development. These initiatives are a significant step toward supporting the Digital Nepal Framework and ensuring economic growth through informed citizens.
