Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited Welcomes SCBNL New Independent Director to Lead Strategic Growthr

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited has appointed Mr Janak Sharma Poudyal as an Independent Director on the Board of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited, effective 2 April 2026, as decided in the Board Meeting held on 31 March 2026.

He has been appointed in place of former Independent Director Mr Siddhant Raj Pandey.

Mr Poudyal brings extensive experience in the banking sector. He has previously served as Chief Executive Officer at two ‘Class A’ commercial banks in Nepal: Global IME Bank Limited and Sunrise Bank Limited. He holds an MBA degree from the London School of Commerce, UK.
