Siddhartha Bank Donates Interactive Smart Boards to 12 Tanahun Community Schools

Siddhartha Bank Limited has handed over one unit of Interactive Display Smart Board each to 12 community schools located in the Tanahun district of Gandaki Province.

The handover program was held on Jestha 11, 2083 (May 25, 2026) at the assembly hall of Shree Narayani Basic School.
The event was attended by the Bank’s Gandaki Province Head, Mr. Niraj Shrestha, Damauli Branch Manager, Mr. Deepak Poudel, Dumre Branch Manager, Mr. Sudhir Wagle, School Management Committee Chairman, Mr. Raju Simkhada, representatives from UWS Nepal, parents, and students.
With the belief that children are the pillars of the nation and its bright future depends on the knowledge and skills they acquire, the bank has handed over these interactive smart boards to promote the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education and connect community school students with modern and quality learning.
It is expected that more than 1,500 students from the 12 community schools will directly benefit from this technology-friendly initiative every year.
The bank believes this technology will make classroom teaching visual and interactive, making the curriculum easier to understand. By using videos, pictures, and digital content, students can grasp subject matter more easily, making the learning process more engaging and effective.
Keeping the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its top priority, the bank has been actively participating in various social initiatives with the aim of contributing to community development. The bank plans to continue such social endeavors in the days to come.
