Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Donates Water Cooler & Braille Paper to Durga Secondary School

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has extended critical educational and infrastructural support to visually impaired students in Jhapa.

The bank, through its Birtamode branch, donated a water cooler and essential Braille paper to Shree Durga Secondary School, located in Birtamode Municipality-09, Jhapa.
During a special handover ceremony, Khim Lal Bhusal, the Koshi Province Head of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, officially presented the water cooler and Braille paper to Laxman Sapkota, the Headmaster of Shree Durga Secondary School.
Enhancing Learning Environments for Visually Impaired Students
The donation aims to fulfill the immediate requirements of the school’s hostel, which accommodates visually impaired students.
Climate Comfort: The newly installed water cooler is expected to significantly regulate indoor temperatures in the hostel during the harsh summer season, providing a comfortable living and studying environment for the students.
Educational Access: Braille paper serves as an indispensable educational resource for visually impaired learners. This support is anticipated to make their daily learning process more efficient, impactful, and high-quality.
