Daraz Nepal Launches Fast Delivery: Free Rapid Shipping for Buyers and Sellers
13th July 2026, Kathmandu
Daraz Nepal, the country’s leading online shopping destination, has announced the launch of Fast Delivery, a new nationwide service that enables the delivery of eligible products faster than before at no additional cost to buyers and sellers.
Daraz Nepal Launches Fast Delivery
Launched in Nepal on July 10, 2026, Fast Delivery reinforces Daraz’s commitment to enhancing the online shopping experience while strengthening the country’s growing e-commerce ecosystem. The service combines merchant fulfillment excellence with Daraz’s nationwide logistics network to ensure that products carrying the Fast Delivery tag consistently meet high standards for speed and reliability.
At launch, almost half of all orders on the platform qualify for Fast Delivery in Nepal. Eligible assortment spans major categories, including everyday essentials, groceries, electronics, and fashion, demonstrating the breadth of the service across both everyday essentials and lifestyle purchases.
To ensure the availability of Fast Delivery while keeping the service free from additional charges for buyers and sellers, Daraz has made a strategic investment in its logistics capabilities to make the service possible while keeping shopping affordable for customers and accessible for sellers.
“Our customers increasingly expect a faster and more dependable online shopping experience, and Fast Delivery is our answer to that expectation,” said Santosh Bista, Chief Logistics Officer, Daraz Nepal. “This launch reflects our continued investment in Nepal’s logistics infrastructure and our commitment to raising the standard of e-commerce in the country. It is particularly encouraging that more than 2,500 sellers already qualify through their existing fulfillment performance, demonstrating the maturity and readiness of Nepal’s digital commerce ecosystem.”
How Products Qualify for Fast Delivery
Products qualify for the Fast Delivery tag through a data-driven evaluation process rather than promotional selection. To qualify, products must consistently meet two key performance benchmarks over a rolling 90-day period: sellers must dispatch orders within defined fulfillment timelines, and at least 80% of deliveries must reach customers within 48 hours. The qualifying product pool is refreshed daily to ensure customers continue to see products that consistently deliver on the promise. Currently, qualifying products average an end-to-end delivery time of 42.74 hours.
What Fast Delivery Means for Customers
For customers, Fast Delivery will be visible throughout the shopping journey, and they can easily identify eligible products through a dedicated Fast Delivery tag on search results, recommendations, and product detail pages. A new search filter also allows shoppers to browse only products that qualify for the service, while product pages display more accurate estimated delivery dates.
“Fast Delivery represents another important step in our mission to make online shopping more convenient and dependable for customers across Nepal,” said Ratish Luitel, Chief Commercial Officer, Daraz Nepal. “By giving greater visibility to sellers who consistently deliver strong fulfilment performance, we are creating value for both buyers and sellers. This initiative rewards operational excellence, strengthens seller competitiveness, and further demonstrates Daraz’s long-term commitment to Nepal’s e-commerce sector.”
As Nepal’s leading e-commerce platform, Daraz continues to invest in technology, logistics, and seller enablement to make online shopping more accessible, reliable, and convenient for millions of customers across the country.
