The new international branch is scheduled to open on Saun 15, July 30 at Sector 65, Gurugram, Haryana. To ensure seamless operations and top-tier guest experiences, Jimbu Thakali will integrate IMS Software’s robust Point of Sale (POS) and management platform.
Bibek Man Sherchan, Founder of Jimbu Thakali, emphasized that choosing Nepali technology for an overseas branch was a deliberate decision.
“This collaboration sends a powerful message that Nepali businesses can compete effectively in international markets while supporting and building upon each other’s strengths,” Sherchan noted.
A Hub for Nepali Heritage: Food, Coffee, and Tech
Interestingly, the new commercial complex in Gurugram will also house an outlet of Himalayan Java, Nepal’s iconic coffee brand. By combining authentic food, artisan coffee, and native software under one roof, this complex showcases a powerful synergy among Nepali brands abroad.
What to Expect at Jimbu Thakali Gurugram:
Seating Capacity: Accommodates around 90 guests at a time.
Authentic Menu: Traditional Thakali thali sets, Dhindo, buckwheat delicacies, Gundruk, Sukuti, Sekuwa, Chatamari, Bara, varieties of Momo, Juju Dhau desserts, and Khuwa Yomari.
Sourced Ingredients: Local spices including Jimbu and Timmur (Szechuan pepper) will be imported directly from Nepal to retain authentic flavors.
Cultural Ambiance: The interior features classic Nepali woodwork, carved windows, artistic pillars, and traditional Thakali cultural elements.
