Chairman Mr. Hajime Aota of Yamaha Motor India Group highlighted Nepal as one of the group’s most important markets, citing its unique position in electrification.
Nepal, unlike markets such as Thailand with large engine-manufacturing bases, is uniquely suited for EV growth. He shared that Yamaha has chosen Nepal as the first market outside India to introduce its Yamaha-branded e-Zero Series electric motorcycles.
He said, “Nepal is one of the most important markets for the Yamaha Motor India Group. Its electrification journey is unique, and that is why we have chosen Nepal as the first market outside India for our e-Zero Series electric motorcycles. Together, let us build a brighter future.”
Mr. Aota also stated, “Nepal is one of Yamaha’s most important and promising markets, with a rapidly growing EV culture. We are preparing to introduce our electric vehicles in Nepal in the near future, and this reflects our confidence in the market’s potential. This Thailand visit also includes a pre-allocation meeting for next year’s product lineup.”
Chairman of MAW Rides Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agrawal, said, “I extend my sincere appreciation to all Yamaha dealers for their dedication and hard work throughout the year. Because Yamaha achieved more than its targeted goals this year, this Thailand trip was planned as a celebration of that success.
I am truly proud of the collective efforts of our dealer network, and I encourage everyone to keep this momentum going as we move forward together, focused on the business and ready to make the year ahead even more successful.”
Beyond the main event, the days in Thailand also gave the group a chance to unwind together, with a Coral Island excursion by speedboat and a guided city and temple tour in Bangkok, along with shopping and an evening cruise.
With the Partners’ Meet now successfully concluded, Yamaha Nepal’s partners return home with renewed energy and a stronger sense of unity, ready to power ahead together into the year ahead.
