Secure Developer Conference 2026 to Bring Nepal’s Technology Community to Hetauda
A free, two-day national technology conference bringing software development and cybersecurity learning to Hetauda, Bagmati Province.
A major technology-focused gathering is coming to Hetauda this month, as DEV Community Nepal announces the Secure Developer Conference 2083. Scheduled for August 31 and September 1, 2026, at the Hotel Dragon & Banquet, Hetauda, the two-day national event aims to bridge the gap between software development and cybersecurity for students, developers, and tech enthusiasts across Nepal.
The conference is free to attend for selected participants and is Powered By Hetauda School of Management and Social Sciences (HSMSS). The initiative is led by Abhishek Adhikari, Co-Founder of DEV Community Nepal, as Lead Organizer, alongside Founder Sushant Rimal.

Day 1: GitHub Conference Day (August 31, 2026):
Focuses on modern software development workflows, covering Git & GitHub, open source, AI integration, DevOps, cloud computing, CI/CD pipelines, and developer productivity tools.
Day 2: Cybersecurity Conference Day (September 1, 2026):
Shifts focus to digital defense, covering ethical hacking, secure coding principles, cyber defense strategies, AI/ML, prompt engineering, full-stack security, observability, and tech career pathways.
The program incorporates practical technical sessions, hands-on workshops, career guidance, and structured networking designed to connect participants with peer networks and industry mentors beyond their routine academic curriculum.
