5th Digital Nepal Conclave 2026
The fifth edition of the widely recognized information and communication technology sector conference, ‘Digital Nepal Conclave,’ is set to be held on Bhadra 11 (Thursday) at The Plaza in Lalitpur.
Organized by ICT Foundation Nepal, this year’s Conclave is centered on the theme ‘Reimagining Governance, Data and the Digital Economy,’ or ‘Reimagining Governance, Data and the Digital Economy.’
As a major technology-sector conference focused on digital transformation and the development of the digital ecosystem for a Digital Nepal, the Conclave has been consecutively organized for the past five years.
Based on the Digital Nepal Framework publicly introduced by the government in 2019 A.D., policy discussions and dialogues on digital transformation began with digital dialogues and conclaves from 2020. The 2026 edition has now placed greater emphasis on the new government’s priority on good governance and, for this purpose, has made data-driven governance and the economy a broader area of discussion.
This year’s Conclave will feature more than three keynote presentations, five thematic panel discussions, and one power dialogue session. Along with presentations by several thematic experts, there will also be presentations of more than 10 innovations currently being developed for Digital Nepal under the Digital Spark segment.
The conference will also feature the participation of several international experts, as well as senior representatives from the Government of Nepal, members of the House of Representatives, and ministers. More than 500 participants are expected to attend the event in person.
The main objective of the program is to create an environment for joint discussion by bringing together the private sector, government, and international organizations under the government’s ambitious plan to build a Digital Nepal, while emphasizing policy reform and implementation, said Razan Lamsal, Chairperson of ICT Foundation Nepal. Lamsal further stated that the initiative also aims to prioritize and integrate into this campaign the efforts undertaken by the government and the private sector for the digital ecosystem, as well as technology and innovation.
Technologies developed by Nepalis in Nepal, like ‘TingTing’ and ‘Third Factor AI,’ have provided special collaboration for this year’s Conclave. Along with these technologies, more than 20 other Nepali technologies will also be showcased at the event.
The program will feature demonstrations that will allow participants to directly experience AI technologies, including TingTing Omni Live Interaction, TingTing Outbound, and TingTing Responsive Agent.
Likewise, the online travel ticketing platform ‘Sasto Ticket’ and fintech company ‘Fonepay’ are the Powered By Partners of the event.
The event has received collaboration and support from CAN Federation, NAS-IT, Ncell Business, Sky IT, Kata Ho, Yeti Cloud, DishHome, NASA X, Re-Security, Code X School, Nepal Telecom, Global Spark, among others.
The discussions at this year’s Conclave will primarily focus on three strategic areas. The first session, under Governance and Digital Public Infrastructure, will discuss institutional digital reform, citizen-centric smart services, integrated digital identity, policy innovation, and data-driven decision-making processes.
The second session, under Data, AI and Cybersecurity, will address national data sovereignty, the ethical use of AI, cybersecurity, digital trust, and data interoperability across different sectors.
The third session, under Digital Economy and Innovation, will focus on digital transformation, investment opportunities for digital transformation, and the digital workforce required for the future. Similarly, the final session will focus on political commitment to digital leadership and transformation.
Digital Nepal Conclave 2026 is expected to further strengthen policy dialogue, knowledge exchange, investment opportunities, and strategic collaboration for Nepal’s digital future by bringing together the government, policymakers, the technology industry, startups, investors, academia, development partners, and young innovators on a single platform.
