Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) Proposes 5.2632 Percent Cash Dividend for FY 2082/83

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited has proposed a 5.2632 percent cash dividend for its shareholders from the distributable profits of the fiscal year 2082/83.
NIFRA Proposes Cash Dividend
Dividend Proposal and Financial Payout
Payout Calculation: The bank’s 191st Board of Directors meeting decided to distribute NPR 1.1368512 billion (NPR 1.1368 billion) in total cash dividends.
Capital Share: The total distribution amounts to 5.2632 percent of the bank’s paid-up capital, which currently stands at NPR 21.60 billion.
Tax Inclusivity: The proposed dividend figure includes applicable corporate and individual dividend taxes.
Multi-Step Approval Process
Central Bank Approval: The proposed dividend must first receive formal endorsement from Nepal Rastra Bank.
Annual General Meeting: Following central bank clearance, the proposal will be presented to shareholders for final approval at the bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Ministry Approval: In accordance with Subsection (2) of Section 182 of the Companies Act, 2063, the dividend distribution will be executed only after obtaining final approval from the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance.
