The Nepal Insurance Authority has provided financial assistance to aid search, rescue, relief, and rehabilitation operations for citizens affected by severe flooding across Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts.

Total Allocation: The regulatory authority handed over a check for NPR 100 million (NPR 10 crore) to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle on Monday.
Core Objective: The financial support is dedicated to bolstering state-managed emergency response efforts, healthcare services, and post-disaster physical reconstruction.
Insurance Sector Financial Mobilization
Regulatory Leadership: The insurance regulatory body initiated the contribution to support public welfare and emergency response mechanisms.
Sector-Wide Involvement: Financial aid to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund from insurance institutions continues to increase, with prior major contributions already deposited by National Life, Nepal Life, Asian Life, MetLife, and Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life.
