Prabhu Bank Employees and Board Contribute Over NPR 4 Million for Flood Relief

Prabhu Bank contributes NPR 4.08 million, collected by its board and employees, to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support flood victims in Nepal.
Prabhu Bank Employees Contribute
Demonstrating a strong commitment to social responsibility, the board of directors and employees of Prabhu Bank have voluntarily collected and contributed NPR 4,080,050 to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
The initiative aims to provide vital relief, rescue, and rehabilitation support to families affected and rendered homeless by the recent devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers.
Official Check Handover
To formalize the contribution, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Suman Sharma, officially handed over the check to the Honorable Finance Minister at the Ministry of Finance. The funds are designated to aid ongoing rescue and relief operations for citizens impacted by the disaster.

Emergency Supplies: Prabhu Bank previously distributed 100 tents and 100 sleeping bags to affected families through the District Administration Office in Nuwakot.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Under its broader CSR initiatives, the bank also handed over a separate check totaling NPR 21,111,111 to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.

Expressing deep grief over the tragedy, Prabhu Bank offered heartfelt condolences to the domestic and foreign citizens who lost their lives in the natural disaster. The bank also wished for the swift rescue of missing individuals and a rapid recovery for the injured, extending its deepest sympathies to all affected communities.
