Insurance Sector Unites for Flood Relief in Nepal
In a major demonstration of corporate social responsibility, the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Nepal (National Committee) has contributed NPR 1,201,111 to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
The financial assistance is targeted toward immediate relief, rehabilitation, and support for families affected by the devastating Bhote Koshi floods.
A delegation led by Association President Om Bahadur Khatri formally handed over the relief cheque to the Finance Minister at the Ministry of Finance. The fundraising drive mobilized insurance agents across multiple life insurance providers nationwide.
