JCB India Felicitates Nepali Customers
JCB India has honoured two of its Nepali customers, Mr. Ain Bahadur Raut and Mr. Netra Bahadur Adhikari, for their significant contribution to rescue efforts during the recent floods in Nepal.
They were felicitated at the JCB Pavilion during Bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026, where Mr. Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director of JCB India, personally praised their efforts. Using a JCB 221 tracked excavator and other machines, Raut and Adhikari worked for several days at the Trishuli 3A site, an effort that made it possible to rescue two people trapped there alive.
In his remarks, the JCB India CEO described it as a story that “gives hope even in tragedies such as the one we saw in Nepal,” adding that despite carrying out such a courageous act, both men “remain extremely simple and humble.”
Through JCB WOW Service vehicles, MAW Earthmovers is running the JCB Disaster Relief Special Free Service Camp, covering JCB machines deployed in rescue, relief, and reconstruction work across Nuwakot and Dhading. The company has also distributed safety kits to the operators of machines deployed in rescue and reconstruction work under hazardous conditions.
As Nepal continues to move forward with recovery and reconstruction, MAW Earthmovers remains fully committed to supporting its customers and operators.
