Prabhu Bank Donates Bunk Beds to Flood Relief Shelter Under CSR Initiative

Prabhu Bank Limited has handed over six sets of double-decker bunk beds to the Pehello Gumba shelter in Kathmandu under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

The support aims to address the immediate accommodation needs of families displaced by recent natural disasters and severe flooding.
Relief Contributions and Financial Support
The bank has been executing multi-stage relief measures to support flood victims across various regions of Nepal.
- Bunk Bed Donation: Distributed six double-decker bunk beds to Pehello Gumba in Kathmandu to provide comfortable sleeping arrangements for displaced families.
- Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund Contribution: Contributed NPR 21,111,111 directly from the bank, alongside NPR 4,080,050 voluntarily collected by board members and staff, totaling over NPR 25.19 Million to the central relief fund.
- Emergency Shelter Materials: Handed over 100 tents and 100 sleeping bags to the District Administration Office, Nuwakot, for distribution to flood-affected households.
- Nationwide Blood Donation Drive: Organized blood donation programs across all seven provinces to ensure sufficient supply for injured victims undergoing treatment.
