Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited, a “B” Class regional development bank operating 34 branches across Koshi Province, has invited applications from qualified Nepali candidates for various operational, technical, and management positions.

Available Positions and Qualification Requirements

The bank is recruiting across multiple technical, managerial, credit, and entry-level roles.

Information Security Officer (ISO) and IT Department: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields. Minimum 7 years of banking experience for ISO with preference for CISA, CISSP, CEH, or CISM certifications. Minimum 5 years of banking experience for IT roles with expertise in Pumori Plus IV, MS SQL, networks, and virtual infrastructure.

Branch Managers (BMs): Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of banking experience in operations, credit, and marketing.

Legal Officer (1 position): Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) and a minimum of 2 years of banking experience in law/credit departments or as a Branch Manager. Candidates with a Master’s degree will be preferred.

Relationship Manager (RM) / Risk Officer (RO) – Credit: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Management and at least 3 years of experience in credit assessment and marketing. Semi-qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs) with banking audit experience are also eligible.

Information Technology (IT) Staff (1 position): Requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT and at least 2 years of banking experience in Pumori Plus CBS, networking, web development, SQL, and Java.

Gold Tester (3 positions): Requires 10+2/PCL qualification and a minimum of 2 years of gold testing experience in BFIs or 3 years in established gold business houses.

Trainee Assistant (TA): Requires 10+2/PCL with at least 45% aggregate marks (preference given to Management graduates). Prior banking experience or internships will be an added advantage.

Age Limits and Application Deadline

The bank has set specific age criteria and application procedures for all announced positions.

• Age Criteria: For ISO, BM, and Legal Officer positions, candidates must be between 21 and 45 years old. For RM/RO, IT Staff, Gold Tester, and Trainee Assistant positions, candidates must be between 18 and 35 years old. Female applicants receive an additional 5-year age relaxation across all categories.
