Nearly a month after severe flooding triggered by the Bhote Koshi River disrupted lives across the region, many families in affected areas continue to struggle with meeting their basic daily needs.
Recognizing that disaster recovery extends far beyond the immediate aftermath, Nepal Mediciti Hospital recently organized a dedicated humanitarian relief mission to support impacted communities in Gajuri Rural Municipality, Dhading.
Collaborative Relief Effort at Ground Zero
Led by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Amit Tomar, a team of hospital management and staff members traveled directly to Ward No. 6 of Gajuri Rural Municipality. The hospital administration coordinated closely with local leadership, including Ward Chairperson Bhakta Bahadur Tamang, as well as local police authorities, to identify key needs and deliver essential relief materials directly to affected households.
In recognition of the hospital’s proactive support, Ward Chair Bhakta Bahadur Tamang presented Nepal Mediciti Hospital with a formal Letter of Appreciation during the distribution program.
