Kumari Bank Limited has published a 7-day public notice inviting confidential sealed bids for the auction sale of pledged collateral properties.

The auction process was initiated after multiple borrowers and guarantors failed to settle their outstanding loan liabilities despite receiving repeated written and verbal notices.
Auction Submission Terms, Timelines, and Deposit Conditions
The notice outlines specific rules and submission criteria for interested individual and corporate bidders.
- Submission Window: Confidential sealed bid applications must be submitted within 7 days from the notice publication date, with the final submission deadline set for Ashwin 20, 2083 BS at 3:00 PM.
- Application Fee: Bid forms can be purchased for a non-refundable fee of NPR 500 per form from the bank’s designated branch or Credit Recovery Department at Bagbazar, Kathmandu.
- Bid Opening Schedule: Sealed bids will be opened on Ashwin 20, 2083 BS at 3:00 PM at the Credit Recovery Department, Bagbazar, Kathmandu, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
- Earnest Money Deposit: Bidders must deposit an earnest money amount equivalent to 10 percent of their quoted bid value into Kumari Bank’s designated account.
Asset Inspection and Rights:
Interested bidders can inspect the properties on an as-is basis during office hours before submitting bids. The bank reserves the full right to accept or reject any bid, acquire assets as Non-Banking Assets, or proceed with legal recovery under relevant financial laws if auction proceeds do not cover total outstanding dues.
