3rd ICICSET 2026 Begins in Lalitpur: Researchers From 8 Countries Gather

The 3rd International Conference on Innovation in Computing, Science, Engineering and Technology (ICICSET 2026) is being held at the Royal Tulip Hotel in Gwarko, Lalitpur, to promote the latest research, scientific knowledge, technological innovation, and international academic collaboration in the fields of computing, science, engineering, and technology.
The conference was jointly inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane, Vice-Chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST); Prof. Dr. Prem Narayan Aryal, former Vice-Chancellor of Pokhara University; and Prof. Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh, Dean of the Faculty of Planning and Development at Sarala Birla University, Ranchi, India, and Chairman of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Jharkhand.
They also delivered congratulatory and goodwill remarks during the inauguration ceremony.
The participation of these three distinguished academic figures, who have played leading roles in science and technology, higher education, and research, has further highlighted the significance of the conference.
Their joint inauguration and goodwill messages were among the important highlights of the event.
The conference is expected to provide a common platform for researchers and the academic community to exchange knowledge and experiences.
Organized by Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT), the conference has participation from eight countries: Nepal, India, China, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Australia, and Malaysia.
46 Out of 97 Research Papers Selected
The conference is regarded as an important academic platform for exchanging ideas on research, recent achievements, and future possibilities across various fields of computing, science, engineering, and technology.
Out of 97 research papers submitted by various researchers and members of the academic community, 46 papers have been selected for publication.
The selection of approximately 47 percent of the submitted papers reflects the importance placed on research quality and academic standards at the conference. The selected research papers will be published in a peer-reviewed journal.
Additionally, their online versions will be made available through journal.ncit.edu.np, according to the organizers.
