Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIMB) has issued a seven-day public notice announcing the auction of movable and immovable collateral assets pledged by defaulting borrowers.

- Notice Publication Date: Ashoj 21, 2083 (October 7, 2026)
- Repayment Grace Period: 7 days from the publication date to settle all outstanding principal, interest, and penal charges
- Bid Submission Deadline: Ashoj 27, 2083 (October 13, 2026)
- Bid Opening Date and Time: Ashoj 28, 2083 (October 14, 2026) at 3:00 PM

Blacklisting and Recovery Procedures
- Credit Information Center Blacklisting: Failure to settle outstanding dues within the seven-day period will lead to the inclusion of borrowers and guarantors in the Credit Information Center’s blacklist, pursuant to Nepal Rastra Bank directives.
- Auction Sale Mechanism: Pledged properties will be auctioned via a confidential sealed-bid process in accordance with prevailing banking regulations.
- Direct Asset Acquisition: If the properties fail to sell through the auction process, NIMB reserves the right to acquire the assets directly or proceed with alternative sales arrangements under applicable laws.
- Deficit Recovery: Should the sale proceeds be insufficient to clear the entire liability, the bank will initiate further legal action to recover the remaining balance from the borrowers’ and guarantors’ other assets.
