Bhaktapur BYD 3S Facility Opens as Cimex Inc. Expands EV Network

Cimex Inc., the authorized distributor of BYD vehicles in Nepal, has announced a major expansion of its electric vehicle (EV) after-sales infrastructure. The company officially inaugurated a state-of-the-art BYD 3S Service Center in Bhaktapur and held a groundbreaking ceremony for an upcoming service facility in Dallu, Kathmandu.

These additions aim to satisfy the growing demand for EV maintenance across the Kathmandu Valley and strengthen BYD’s customer-centric network in Nepal.

Bhaktapur BYD 3S Facility: Heritage Meets Modern EV Care

Spanning 25,072.60 square feet, the newly opened Bhaktapur center operates as an integrated 3S facility (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts).

Key Highlights of the Bhaktapur Facility

Service Capacity: Features 8 dedicated service bays, with 5 fully operational bays available immediately and 3 reserved for expansion as demand grows.

Heritage Design: Blends traditional architectural elements of Bhaktapur with global BYD dealership standards.

Upcoming Showroom: A dedicated vehicle showroom on-site is scheduled to open soon.

New Service Center Underway in Dallu, Kathmandu

On the same day, Cimex Inc. hosted the groundbreaking ceremony for its upcoming service facility in Dallu. The center will expand BYD’s reach in Western Kathmandu, providing faster service turnarounds for local EV owners.
