Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) has signed a formal corporate agreement with Everest Hospital Private Limited to extend discounted medical services and priority healthcare support to CIT contributors, staff members, and their dependent family members.

Healthcare Discount Framework, Medical Packages, and Identity Verification Rules

The institutional agreement was formally executed by Citizens Investment Trust Acting Executive Director Hemanta Pokharel and Everest Hospital Assistant Administrator Yadav Prasad Dhungana to provide high-quality healthcare benefits to CIT participants.

• Corporate Discount Agreement: Citizen Investment Trust and Everest Hospital Private Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide subsidized health services to CIT employees, contributors, and their dependent family members.
• Diagnostic and Room Discounts: Eligible beneficiaries will receive a 20 percent discount on hospital bed charges and diagnostic laboratory testing services.
• Surgery and Pharmacy Discounts: Beneficiaries receive a 10 percent discount on Operation Theater (OT) surgical bills and pharmacy purchases.
• Service Exclusions: The discount structure does not apply to outsourced diagnostic tests, doctor consultation fees, ambulance charges, or specialized medical equipment usage.
• Specialized Healthcare Services: Everest Hospital will organize specialized health packages, ambulance assistance, and periodic health camps for active CIT participants.
• Identity Verification Protocol: Eligible personnel and contributors will be identified using official CIT identity cards, while dependent family members without separate cards will be verified through direct CIT records or advance notice to the hospital.
• Confidentiality Provision: Both institutions agreed to maintain complete confidentiality and security regarding user medical records and personal data obtained during service delivery.
