NPL Season 3: Xtreme Energy Drink Introduces ‘Silver Ball’ Award to Honor Top Performers
28th October 2026, Kathmandu
Amid the thrilling action of runs and wickets in the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), official sponsor Xtreme Energy Drink has unveiled a unique initiative to recognize individual player excellence: the ‘Silver Ball’ award under the banner of Xtreme Man of the Match.
This initiative aims to motivate players, honor individual talent and grit on the field, and elevate competitive standards across the marquee T20 league.
Rewarding Performance Beyond Match Outcomes
Out of the eight franchises competing in NPL Season 3, Xtreme Energy Drink has established official sponsorship partnerships with seven teams. Under this setup:
Single Partner Match: The top-performing player from the sponsored team will receive the coveted Silver Ball award.
Dual Partner Match: When two Xtreme-sponsored teams face off, the outstanding player from each side will be honored with a Silver Ball.
This dual-recipient structure ensures that individual brilliance is celebrated regardless of whether a team wins or loses, prioritizing skill and dedication above match results.
Sher Malla Becomes the Inaugural Winner
The rollout of the Silver Ball trophy began right from the opening clash of NPL Season 3.

Boost Player Morale: Encourage cricketers to perform at their highest competitive level throughout the tournament.
Build Personal Brands: Provide domestic and international players a tangible platform to establish individual recognition.
Enhance Fan Excitement: Deepen fan engagement and overall audience passion for Nepalese franchise cricket.
As NPL Season 3 progresses, the Silver Ball is set to add an extra layer of prestige and excitement to every match on the schedule.
