The letter of intent calls for experienced and qualified consultants. According to NTA, 50 percent of the consultants will be selected on the basis of experience. 40 percent will be selected on the basis of qualification. The remaining 10 percent will be selected on the basis of capacity.

The consultants will have to prepare the operating structure. NTA is preparing to have its own satellite by the next fiscal year.

Three years ago, NTA had issued the letter of intent. 22 companies had shown interest and 12 countries had participated in it. Aryal said, earlier 22 companies had shown interest in this project.
