FINYE Entrepreneur Summit to Bridge Nepal and Global Diaspora through Innovation
FINYE Entrepreneur Summit
19th September 2025, Kathmandu
The Fostering Innovation & Entrepreneurship among Nepali Youth Everywhere (FINYE) organization is set to host its annual Entrepreneur Summit and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 20, 2025, in Irving, Texas.
FINYE Entrepreneur Summit
The FINYE Entrepreneur Summit aims to connect key stakeholders, innovators, and leaders to create a strategic framework for Nepal’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
This landmark event will also officially launch FINYE USA, signifying a major step in the organization’s global expansion. The summit will highlight the crucial role of the Nepali diaspora in the nation’s economic development and explore sustainable funding models.
The event will take place at the Namaste Palace Irving Texas, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It will serve as a platform for dialogue and collaboration on critical issues facing young Nepali entrepreneurs, both in Nepal and abroad.
FINYE’s mission is to actively organize and facilitate programs that strengthen entrepreneurship among Nepali youth. The summit’s agenda is packed with discussions and initiatives designed to achieve this goal.
Key Objectives of the Summit
The summit’s program is structured around several key objectives. First, it will officially launch FINYE USA, establishing a formal presence in the United States.
This will create new opportunities for networking and collaboration for Nepali entrepreneurs in the North American region. Second, participants will work on developing a strategic framework.
This framework is designed to provide comprehensive support for Nepal’s broader entrepreneurial ecosystem, addressing existing gaps and creating new pathways for growth.
Third, the summit will advocate for policies that empower young entrepreneurs. By engaging with policymakers and leaders, FINYE aims to influence policy decisions that create a more favorable environment for startups and small businesses. This includes discussions on reducing bureaucratic hurdles and providing incentives for innovation.
Focus on Funding and Collaboration
A major part of the discussion will revolve around funding models. The summit will explore the potential of a Nepali Diaspora Investment Fund.
This fund could channel financial resources from the global Nepali community into promising ventures in Nepal. Such a mechanism could provide much-needed capital for startups and help them scale their operations. The event will also explore other sustainable funding models to ensure long-term support for the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Furthermore, the summit will foster academia–industry collaboration. By bringing together academic institutions and business leaders, FINYE seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
This collaboration can lead to the creation of new technologies, products, and services that drive economic growth. The summit will also focus on building international partnerships to expand opportunities and increase the global impact of Nepali entrepreneurs.
Bridging Nepal and the Global Diaspora
The main panel discussion will focus on “Bridging Nepal and the Global Diaspora through Entrepreneurship.” This topic is at the heart of FINYE’s mission.
The Nepali diaspora has significant potential to contribute to Nepal’s development. They possess valuable skills, knowledge, and financial resources.
By connecting them with entrepreneurs in Nepal, the summit aims to create a powerful synergy that benefits both the diaspora and the home country. The discussions will cover strategies for seamless collaboration, knowledge transfer, and investment.
This event is more than just a meeting; it is a movement. It is about creating a network of support that transcends geographical boundaries. It is about empowering the next generation of Nepali leaders and innovators.
The FINYE Entrepreneur Summit is a call to action for everyone who believes in the power of youth entrepreneurship and the potential of a globally connected Nepal.
