In a move to prioritize customer convenience, Everest Bank Limited has announced that it will keep several of its branches open during the public holiday for Ghatasthapana on Monday, September 22, 2025 (6th Ashoj 2082).

In Koshi Province, the Biratnagar branch will be operational for cash deposits and withdrawals in Nepalese Rupees. Meanwhile, the Birgunj branch in Madhesh Province will facilitate crucial ECC/RTGS (Domestic) transactions.
Recognizing the need for international transactions, Everest Bank’s Baneshwor, Bagbazar, Satdobato, and Thimi branches in Bagmati Province will offer foreign currency exchange services, subject to availability.
This service is a key provision for customers with urgent foreign currency requirements. Additionally, branches in Pokhara (Gandaki Province), Butwal (Lumbini Province), and Dhangadhi (Sudurpashchim Province) will also be open to provide vital banking support.
Beyond its physical branches, Everest Bank has confirmed that its customs counters at Birgunj, ICP, and Nepalgunj will follow their regular schedules.
The bank also stated that revenue counters will operate as per the government’s decision for the day. Furthermore, the Central Clearing Unit will continue to process all clearing and Connect IPS transactions, ensuring the smooth flow of digital and inter-bank transfers.
