Vivo has officially launched its newest flagship in China, the Vivo X300 Pro, a device that packs a serious punch.
Dimensity 9500 Vivo X300 Pro
It has become the world’s first device to feature the new flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
This powerhouse also boasts an incredible 200MP periscope telephoto camera system, making it a major contender in the high-end smartphone market.
The X300 Pro delivers exceptional performance and a groundbreaking photography experience.
Display and Premium Build Quality
The Vivo X300 Pro is the top-tier offering in the X300 Series (though an Ultra model may follow). The phone features a large 6.78-inch BOE Q10+ OLED panel.
This display offers a crisp 1.5K resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and an astounding peak brightness of 4500 nits. It also incorporates a high-frequency 2160Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort.
In terms of design, the X300 Pro sports a slightly beveled aluminum frame and achieves an impressive IP69/69 rating for dust and water resistance.
The body measures and weighs 226 grams. Consumers can choose from four sophisticated colors: Free Blue, Simple White, Pure Black, and Wilderness Brown.
Performance Driven by Dimensity 9500
At the core of the X300 Pro lies the innovative Dimensity 9500 chipset from MediaTek. This new processor is built to deliver a substantial leap in performance and efficiency over its predecessor.
The X300 Pro pairs this cutting-edge chipset with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and storage options including 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of quad-channel UFS 4.1 storage.
This hardware configuration ensures smooth multitasking, demanding gaming, and rapid data transfer speeds.
The device runs on the newly released OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. Vivo enhances the software experience with AIGC large model support.
This enables advanced features like AI-customized beauty and landscape creation, deeply integrating artificial intelligence into the user experience.
The New King of Telephoto Lenses: 200MP
The camera system is perhaps the most notable feature. The Vivo X300 Pro boasts a ZEISS-branded triple rear camera setup.
Headlining this system is a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera. Vivo is marketing this unit, which supports OIS and achieves CIPA 5.5-level stabilization, as the “new king of telephoto lenses.”
The setup also includes a high-performance 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with gimbal OIS and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens.
Both the main and telephoto cameras benefit from ZEISS T* coating and APO certification for superior image quality and chromatic aberration control.
For stunning selfies, the phone uses a 50MP Samsung JN1 front camera. To further elevate computational photography, the Pro model uniquely includes two dedicated imaging chips: the VS1 for pre-processing and the V3+ for post-processing.
Battery and Connectivity Features
Powering the device is a substantial 6,510 mAh battery, which offers all-day usage. Users will appreciate the rapid 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support.
Additional features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and dual stereo speakers.
For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, and USB 3.2 Gen 1. Vivo also introduced a special Beidou Satellite Communication Edition of the X300 Pro, offering satellite connectivity in areas without cellular coverage.
The launch of the Vivo X300 Pro establishes a new benchmark for flagship smartphones, combining sheer processing power with an industry-leading camera system.
