The British College Wins “Best International College of Nepal” at Nepal Education Awards 2025

The British College (TBC), Nepal’s leading international institution, was named “Best International College of Nepal” at the Nepal Education Awards 2025.

The award was presented at a ceremony held at the University of Greenwich, honoring TBC’s innovative curriculum, strong UK partnerships, and success in preparing students for international careers.
The award honors TBC’s work in providing a modern education through UK partnerships, which equips students for careers worldwide.
Mr Rajen Kandel, CEO of The British College, received the award alongside Mrs Shova Kandel. Upon accepting the honor, Mr Kandel stated, “This award is not just for our institution, but for every student who chose to dream big with us.
It validates our mission to provide a truly British education in the heart of Nepal, creating globally competitive graduates who are ready to lead. We are proud to be a bridge between Nepal and the world.”
The ceremony was attended by distinguished figures, including His Excellency Mr Chandra Kumar Ghimire, Ambassador of Nepal to the United Kingdom; Prof. Dr Deepak Shakya, Vice-Chancellor of Madhesh University; and senior representatives from the University of Greenwich.
In the individual awards category, Mr Amardeep Mandal, Group Head – Admission & Marketing of The British Education Group, was recognized as the “Best Educational Marketer of the Year” for his significant role in promoting UK education and fostering international academic collaboration.
