Simplified Registration and Login
Access to EBL Touch-24 is designed for maximum convenience. New users can utilize the self-registration facility directly through the app by providing basic personal details, including their account number, card number, and mobile number. Verification is swiftly completed via a One-Time Password (OTP), allowing customers to activate the service without visiting a branch. For login, the registered mobile number serves as the User ID, simplifying the process.
Security is paramount, and EBL Touch-24 utilizes multiple layers of protection. The app employs robust 128-bit SSL encryption to protect data in transit. Furthermore, it supports Biometric login (Fingerprint/Face Recognition), allowing users to access their accounts securely without needing to manually input a password. For password management, an online password reset facility is available, authenticated via OTP verification and the selection of previously chosen secret pictures, enhancing user control over their security credentials. The app utilizes Extended Two-Factor Authentication (ETFA) to ensure optimal security for all banking transactions.
Fees for Digital Services
To ensure transparency, Everest Bank maintains clear charges for its digital services. The combination of Mobile Banking plus SMS Alert service for individual customers has an annual charge of NPR 300. The SMS Alert-only service is available for a lower annual fee of NPR 200.

Account Overview and Cheque Management
Customers gain an immediate, holistic view of all linked EBL accounts on a single screen. They can check recent transactions, view a full transaction history between applicable dates, and even download statements in PDF format for record-keeping. For cheque management, users can track their cheque book status and use the online cheque stop facility instantly in case a cheque is lost or stolen, providing essential security control.
Fund Transfers and Interoperability
The app is a powerful engine for fund movement, supporting both internal and external transfers:
Internal Transfers: Transfers can be made between a customer’s self-linked EBL accounts and to third-party accounts within Everest Bank.
Interbank Transfers: EBL Touch-24 enables seamless transfers to accounts in other banks across Nepal.
Fonepay Integration: Users can utilize the Fonepay direct transfer feature using just a mobile number, and also access QR Code: Scan and Pay functionality at over a million Fonepay registered merchant outlets, including the innovative FoneTAG offline payment solution for areas with limited connectivity. The app also allows customers to schedule and save recurring payments for automated financial management.

Utility Bill Payments: Includes payments for electricity, water (Khanepani), internet, and TV services.
Other Payments: Customers can process insurance policy payments, school/college fees, and share payments directly through the app.
Top-Up Services: Direct top-up options are available for major networks like NTC, Ncell, ADSL, Smartcell, Dishome, and SimTV (postpaid and prepaid). Customers can also easily load funds to digital wallets like eSewa.
Transaction Limits and Supplementary Features
To maintain a secure and functional environment, Everest Bank has clearly defined transaction limits for its mobile banking service. The limit is set at NPR 100,000 per single transaction, with a robust daily limit of NPR 300,000, and a high monthly limit of NPR 3,000,000. These limits ensure high-value utility while adhering to necessary security precautions.
Beyond transactions, the app offers several valuable General Inquiry & Features:
- Financial Tools: Access to the latest Forex rates, the bank’s official calendar, an EMI calculator, and interest rate inquiry.
