A Hotel Opened in Myagdi on the Concept of Mahabir Pun

A hotel has been put into service at Annapurna-5 Khopra of Annapurna rural municipality in Myagdi. The hotel was put into service by the Tourism Cooperative for the purpose of carrying out commercial tourism activities in the district.

Rajesh Tilija Pun, Chairman of the Tourism Cooperative said that a 20-room hotel with a capacity of 40 people had been put into operation at Annapurna-5 Khopra.

Chairman Pun also said that the hotel which was put into service by cooperatives was the very first in a new concept of hotel in Nepal. This will bring benefits to the tourism community.

However, the cooperative has brought the hotel into operation on the Annapurna Protected Area Foothills with the aim of bringing the benefits of tourism to the community.

According to the concept of  Mahabir Pun who is Chairman of the National Innovation Center said we have run a hotel for the first time from the cooperative in Nepal.

“It is our common aim to distribute the benefits to the community,” said Chairman Pun.

According to Chairman Pun, the cooperative has planned to operate a new trail in the Annapurna zone, including the hotel, along with the surrounding tourist sites. Earlier, a community hotel run by Paudwar Higher Secondary School and Himachal Higher Secondary School in Khopra Lake was brought into the cooperative.

After evaluating the hotel structure, an agreement was reached. On the development of a salary fund for 25% of private Paudwar Higher Secondary School teachers.
