The exhibition will be free and open to all visitors. Aakar Foundation believes that everyone deserves the right to live with dignity, and its programs are designed to create real opportunities for people with disabilities to showcase their skills, gain independence, and be fully included in society.

Aakar Foundation is partnering with MAW Group, Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited and Global IME Bank Limited. Aakar Foundation has a long-term association with AutismCare Nepal Society. This year, Aakar Foundation has also collaborated with Spinal Injury Sangh Nepal for an art project with persons with spinal cord injury.

The purpose of organizing this exhibition is to create greater awareness about the abilities of persons with disabilities and to challenge the stereotypes that often surround them.

By showcasing their art and creativity in a public space, Aakar Foundation hopes to inspire society to see beyond disability and recognize talent, skill, and potential. The exhibition also seeks to provide a platform for individuals to express themselves with confidence, proving that their voices and creativity deserve equal visibility.

In addition, it aims to connect persons with disabilities with wider audiences, partners, and opportunities, opening doors for future growth, collaboration, and inclusion. At the same time, the exhibition benefits the wider community by encouraging empathy, understanding, and appreciation of diversity, helping build a more compassionate and inclusive society.

Through its initiatives, the foundation aims to support persons with disabilities in learning market-ready skills and building pathways to income-generating opportunities. This includes technical education, skill development, and platforms to showcase talents in music, arts, literature, and technology.

In just over two years, Aakar Foundation has conducted more than 20 art workshops, engaged over 80 persons with disabilities, and built more than 10 partnerships to promote inclusive growth. Each of these milestones reflects the foundation’s vision: a future where people with disabilities are recognized for their talents and thrive in both personal and professional life.

Aakar Foundation continues to create spaces where potential is nurtured, dignity is restored, and inclusion becomes a reality. Its mission remains clear: to financially empower persons with disabilities through skills, opportunities, and platforms that help them live with independence and pride.
