The American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (#AmCham_Nepal), in collaboration with Aadyanta Advisory, successfully organized its 19th Member Learning Series at the premises of member company Adex–TekBay.
The session inaugurated a new four-part dialogue initiative titled “Scaling Innovations: Bridging Valleys – U.S.–Nepal Tech Conversations”, funded by U.S. Embassy Nepal and designed to connect Nepal’s growing tech ecosystem with U.S. technology companies and commercial platforms.
The first session, “Scaling Ethical and Innovative AI Adoption for Global Markets,” brought together AmCham members, emerging tech founders, and established industry leaders who are already contributing to Nepal’s integration with the U.S. tech landscape.
Curated jointly by AmCham Nepal and the Aadyanta team, the event aimed to spark meaningful connections, encourage collaboration, showcase noteworthy U.S. and Nepali innovations, and promote shared learning across both ecosystems.
“We are creating a shared platform to deepen connections, strengthen common understanding, and build stronger collective commitment to the future we envision,” said Stuti Basnyat, Managing Director of Aadyanta Advisory.
She highlighted the U.S. Embassy Nepal’s role in helping conceive the initiative and emphasized that this forward-looking collaboration will help generate a practical roadmap for Nepali founders linking them with U.S. platforms, investment channels, and global opportunities.
As part of the broader roadmap ahead, Aadyanta Advisory and AmCham Nepal outlined key priorities:
Building the skills Nepal needs to compete and lead in the global AI marketplace
Elevating a cohesive narrative positioning Nepal as an emerging Tech and AI hub
Opening greater access to growth capital for startups and scaling companies
The event featured a dynamic exchange among industry leaders and startup representatives, focusing on the critical intersection of AI, cybersecurity, governance, and global scalability.
Discussions affirmed Nepal’s potential to become a high-quality “boutique” talent hub for the U.S. market where successful AI adoption relies on a balanced integration of people, processes, and technology.
A highlight of the program included a demo of Lasius, Adex–TekBay’s in-house AI deployment tool, showcasing efficient, secure, and scalable enterprise AI solutions developed in Kathmandu.
Mike Harker, Public Affairs Chief at U.S. Embassy Nepal, said: “The United States is proud to support this project, not only because it reflects our values of creativity and innovation, but because we see the commercial opportunities, the partnerships, and the shared prosperity that can grow from this initiative.” “In future sessions, we will focus on what it takes to move from promising ideas to scalable ventures, including strategic partnerships and access to scale-up finance,” Harker added.
Adex–TekBay co-founder Baibhav Khadka delivered closing remarks, reaffirming the company’s commitment to global competitiveness. “Nepal has world-class skills, and we are proud to showcase our talent and products to world-class companies from right here in Kathmandu,” he said.
AmCham Nepal’s Executive Director Amir R Thapa expressed pride in hosting impactful Member Learning Series events that directly advance commercial cooperation between the United States and Nepal.
These initiatives help bring the two nations closer, uplift Nepal’s economic potential, and strengthen Nepal’s position as a trusted partner for U.S. tech companies.
Such partnerships are essential to advancing our shared goal of deepening commercial ties, expanding two-way investment, and fostering mutual economic prosperity.
