Samsung announced and released the new Samsung S6 Edge+ smartphone on August 2015 that comes up with an Android OS  v5.1.1 lollipop. This phone has a dimension of 154.4 x 75.8 x 6.9 mm (6.08 x 2.98 x 0.27 in) with 6.9mm thickness and weighs about 153 grams.  This phone supports GSM /HPSA/ LTE network configurations. It uses a nano-SIM card registered via Samsung Pay (Visa, MasterCard certified).
The display is of 16M colors and has Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. The screen size is 5.7 inches curved edge screen, and the screen-to-body ratio is 75.6%. The screen resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels which are precisely 518 PPI pixel density. It supports multitouch and comes up with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection with TouchWiz UI. It has got Exynos 7420 Octa chipset, and CPU comprises of Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.10 GHz Cortex-A57 processors. The GPU used is Mali-T760MP8. The internal memory available is 32/ 64GB, and it contains 4GB RAM. It does not support micro SD slot.
The primary camera comprises of a 16 MP, 28mm, OIS, f/1.9, autofocus, LED flash camera while secondary comprises of 5MP, 22mm, f/1.9, dual video call, 1440p@30fps, and Auto HDR camera.  The video feature is 2160p @30fps, 1080p @60fps, 720p @120fps, HDR and dual video recording. The primary camera features include 1/2.6″ sensor size, geo-tagging, 1.12 µm pixel size, touch focus, Auto HDR, face detection and panorama mode.
The microphone jack is 3.55mm and has got stereo loudspeakers. The WLAN supported are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, and hotspot. It also comes with an NFC connection and infrared port. The Bluetooth version is 4.1, A2DP, LE, apt-X. The USB available is v2.0 microUSB with USB Host.
It also comes with Fingerprint, compass, gyro, accelerometer, heart rate, SpO2, barometer and proximity sensors. The messaging can be performed via SMS threaded view, Email, IM, and Push mail. The GPS technology is A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS. It comes with wireless charging and with S-Voice natural language commands and dictation. The browser is HTML5.
The battery used is Non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAH battery that gives up to 20 h(3G) standby talk time and music play up to 66 h battery life while the endurance rating is 83h. The colors available are White pearl, Silver Titan, Pink, Black Sapphire, and Gold Platinum. This device costs approximately $549.99
